Job Description – Warehouse Associate

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Chicago, IL area market to perform all warehouse related activities. This includes forklift operation, material handling, material staging, warehouse cleanliness, and water cooler repair and maintenance. The Warehouse Associate also holds a high level of safety, product quality, and environmental standards. We provide a hands-on training process upon hire.

 

Essential Functions

• Responsible for maintaining a healthy inventory of bottled water coolers

• Routinely repair, clean, and disassemble water coolers

• Keep inventory of cooler parts and advise when to purchase

• Take ownership of the warehouse by organizing via forklift

• Locate, mark, and report items to be scrapped or destroyed

• Assist the team with the production of bottled water

• Responsible for following company and customer safety policies and procedures

• Willing to learn about high speed machinery and perform maintenance on different machines

Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic tools

• Must have good verbal and written skills

• Ability to work in a fast pace environment where quantity and quality go hand in hand

• Physical requirements include ability to bend, squat, walk with heavy equipment, climb ladders, and lift 70+ pounds

• Valid driver’s license

• Must be at least 21 years old
