Why Water One?

Updated: Mar 3, 2019

Back in 1982, in the city of Chicago, there were multiple deaths as a result of Tylenol-branded acetaminophen capsules that had been laced with potassium cyanide. It was the Tylenol scare. Tylenol then had to change the way their product was sealed. Many people were scared and stopped trusting food grade products that weren't sealed. This gave Michael Barlow an idea. He decided to start producing bottled water in a safer way, using updated wrapping and sealing technology. The people of Chicago loved it and wanted more. Today, Water One is a leader in bottled water production using advanced safety methods to get the clean water your home or business needs.

Some say we have a water problem in America. When we take a look at what is happening in Flint, Michigan, or Lake Okeechobee water affecting Florida's Gulf of Mexico. This is minimal versus what is happening outside of the United States. Each year, 3.5 million people die from water related diseases. Now there is no easy solution to fixing this. All we can say is that we want to help. Our nonprofit, Water One World Solutions, helps by creating mobile purification systems to help developing countries without fresh water. With our systems, you are able to hook up a water line from a bad water source, and make it clean and safe to drink.

Here is a quick video below.

Thanks,

Brandon Barlow
